- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Called and booked for two for an unplanned Sunday lunch. We came with recommendation by the locals and I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised with the beautifully cosy place, clean and good quality food. Menu is a limited but we had the specials with was the twice cooked pork belly and roasted stuffed lamb loin. The lamb was cooked to perfection but I felt the pork was slightly overcooked on some part. To finish off we had the apple crumble (that's what i think it is) which was heavenly. Prices was on the higher side but you pay for what you get as they say. Plus I felt the quality of food was worth it. We also got the fruit cake which was lovely as well. I'd recommend this place for the quality food, friendly staff and owner and the ambience. Sitting outside during summer, just be wary of the flies. 7/10By vsnaiker, February 23, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Beautiful setting and a surprising little jewel just off the beaten track. Delightfully shady gardens and fireplace inside - so it's got the seasons covered!
